ok, i've been on vacation and sick. I've lost about 3 pounds. being sick is not the good way to do that though. All the candy we bought at the fudge store was too sweet, but the chocolate covered raisins from Costco were delicious. Didn't read a lick of scripture while I was gone...but the Alaskan Bride series was good! So much for the resolutions of 2012.
My internet at work has been weird so I haven't been able to comment, and when I'm at home I don't take the time to get on the computer because I'm on the computer all day at work. It's a vicious circle. Anyways, my goal for the week is to keep up with my other ones, exercising 4 days a week for 20 mins atleast, taking my vitamins (which I'm trying my hardest but somedays I forget), drinking two bottles of water a day, and no dishes in the sink by bedtime. I'm going to add blowing up my blue exercise ball and do some ab work 3 days this week. Go us! It's almost February, we've almost made it over the hump. The hump is March, almost everyone gets rid of their resolutions by March. Not us though! Good job everyone.
ReplyDeleteOne more thing. We had a "resolution meeting" at work a week or so ago and he said lots of people write down their goals and then put them in an envelope or something and forget about them until next year. He said to write them down and put them somewhere you're at everyday so you remember what they are. Since then I have put a sticky note here at work right next to my computer screen and I will be writing another one with the same goals on it to put on my night stand or somewhere I haven't decided yet. And then I'll just add to my sticky note or write a new one. I thought that was great because I forget what I'm supposed to be doing all the time.
ReplyDeleteThe sticky notes are a good idea. Sounds like your list of goals is growing! Keep up the good work.
